Mosaic is built on a simple belief: nobody should have to fight to access a space that says it's for them. That includes this website.

 

Our Commitment

I don't just consult on accessibility — I live it, and I hold this site to the same standard I hold every room, clinic, or community space I walk into. This site is built and maintained with the goal of being usable by everyone, regardless of ability, with an ongoing commitment to meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines.

 

What that means in practice

  • Visuals & Contrast: Colors meet WCAG contrast thresholds for low vision and color blindness, and text can be resized without breaking site functionality.

  • Navigation: The entire site is navigable using standard keyboard inputs alone.

  • Assistive Tech: Form fields, buttons, and graphics include descriptive labels and alt text for screen readers.

  • Sensory Safety: We strictly avoid content that flashes, flickers, or triggers motion sensitivities.

 

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility across every page, some external third-party widgets or embedded tools may occasionally present navigation barriers. If you encounter a barrier with an embedded form or tool, reach out to us directly and we will provide an accessible alternative.

 

An ongoing process, not a checkbox

Accessibility isn't a one-time fix — it's an ongoing practice. If something on this site doesn't work the way it should for you, that's not a failure on your part. It's information I need.
